I have noticed that some people get this email saying ( card production ordered )

others get we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION.

is there any difference ? or maybe second one means that they sent it already ,

which means that you have to go through card production then ( we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. )

it is confusing because in the USCIS , Card production is the last step

please advise

I guess they update the cases to (card production ) that's first

then they update the case to mailed approval when they mail it ,

right?

Correct - Card production means `exactly that and once you receive the approval/sent email it means it is in the mail. I understand that typically the card arrives 7-10 days after card production notice and 2-3 days after approval/sent email/ Bear in mind that sometimes multiple notices / emails are posted and some people get no updates / emails at all. It is far from an exact science but rough estimates are possible based on others experiences.

yes to the above answers.

For the greencard... there are 3 emails usually (but there may be duplicates of anyone).

1. Card production ordered- greencard was ordered to be made

2. Welcome letter sent- a letter sent to new resuident welcoming them to the US, but no greencard yet

3. Approval notice sent- the greencard is mailed out to the new resident
