Ok, this would be at least the 3rd house we lived in I think, this is in Calgary - the standard 3 bedroom bungalow - it wasn't quite this ugly when I was a kid

In looking at the picture it reminded me that the elementary school was at one end of the block and the playground just a few doors down in the other direction - good choice there parents!

Cool! I can see my old house, and I can tell that the picture was definitely taken sometime last spring. And I can see my old work, and I can tell that picture was taken sometime in the early summer, and my car is in the parking lot :). That's pretty neat.

I was looking at my old old house, or street anyway.

It's changed so much I can't find my house anymore.

Aha! Here ya go!

This is the house I grew up in, in Kitchener, Ontario

houseigrewupin.jpg

This is the house my mum and dad live in now in Kitchener. It's a bungalow so it looks tiny from the front but its about 3,000 sq. feet.

momanddadshouse.jpg

My apartment in Ottawa on Elgin STreet and the view. I almost cried a bit when I saw this...looks like a piece of ###### from the outside but was so nice on the inside. The national war memorial can be seen far in the distance as I lived right down ths treet from Parliament Hill.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

there is no street view in the town I was born in...:P

Me either, but I lived in Kitchener for a while. I need to see if I can find my exact house, even though we didn't live in it very long.

The lawns are so green!! Ahhh summer in Canada, have to love it.

I wish they had street view of Singapore so I could look at the houses we lived in there.

the lawns are so green because of the 6 months of rain we get ..lol
