Hello all,

I have a petition as a brother of a USc, my sister applied for me in 2000. But my case number begins with 2003....What is my priority date?? On the letter is 2000, but I dont want any surprise...My first application was in 1996, as an unmarried son of LPR, but that case is closed I think - i posted the other question in LPR subforum -

If they keep the actual rate, in about 8 months i will receive the approval, as I saw on the NVC bulletin.

From the the date of the approval letter up the visa issued what are the steps to follow and how long will take?

And, there are 2 processing centers one in California, one in Vermont I guess. My case is in California but they are very slowly,about 10 years to process a file; the one in Vermont has around 6 year waiting.Now, can i transfer the file to the other proccesing center?

Also forgot to ask, do I need a police report? Because I have 1 company that is in bankrupcy trial now and maybe I will have some issues ...Financial ones

Your sister will have a receipt that will show the PD.

My guess is that you have another year or so.

They will certainly want Police records.

for the standard stuff.
