Hello all. My wife finally received her interview date. It will be November 9th at HCM. Does anybody know of a clean and reasonable hotel near the embassy where we can stay? Will need a room big enough for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). Thanks in advance.

There are plenty of them along Le Thang Ton Street, by Ben Thanh Market. Rates are reasonable and rooms are quite large. I have friends stayed at these hotels before. The closest hotel to the Consulate which I have personally stayed for the past few times is Khach San Dong Duong (www.indochinehotel.com). It is located almost at the other end of Hai Ba Trung and Ben Bach Dang, behind Sheraton. It is almost walking distance to the Consulate. You can ask for bigger rooms to fit 2 adults and 2 kids. Hope that helps and good luck to you.

I used to be indecisive. Now I am just not sure ...

The best clean room at the most reasonable price is at Hotel My Ngan on 208 ly tu trong. It's 300,000vnd. They will ask for 350 but say you are a reccomended here and they will take kknock off 50. Make sure to ask for the room with a window

Do they have wifi?

I've also stayed here (Indochine Hotel) a few times and would recommend them.

They do have internet, didn't have wifi last time I was there, but I found a strong enough signal from someone close by.

We used Khai Hoang Hotel on Hai Ba Trung street. They have computer in your room with internet access. The room is big but I would suggest 2 beds for your family. It's a nice, clean place and their breakfast tastes better than other hotels. I want to order 2nd bowl but we want to go out and eat something else.

The hotel called Thai Ha Huy on Le Van Sy street, Phu Nhuan district. It is about 20 mins to the Consulate. It is very clean, professional and good services. The price is 600,000 VND and it is very comfortable for 4 people. We had the VIP room and with elevator.
