Hi guys!

It's been a while since I posted on this forum, pretty much since I was granted my two year green card. Anyways, I know I'm a little bit aheah of time but I was just wondering about removing conditions next year and how much the situation has changed since I adjusted status originally.

My husband and I recently purchased our first home, and we are also expecting our first baby (due in january 2010). We both work and although we relocated from LA to SF pretty much everything else is the same.

How all the new developments affect our case when we apply for removing of conditions??

Well, as a VJ veteran, I know that you will expect that the first thing you hear is advice to read the guides. They are invaluable.

As to the specifics you outlined: your move will not affect anything (shouldn't even affect where you file I don't think) and your purchasing a house together will show both co-habitation and financial mingling of assets and presumably, debt

For ROC, USCIS is not looking for affidavits of support or anything like that. Just proof that you are living together as a married couple. Financial co-mingling is a big part of that as you will see from the guides. The first pinned article up above, details a conversation that one VJ member had with a USCIS (Vermont) big wig recently ... check that out too!
