we are excited to get married thus we are doing this visa process so go take a hike!

we got married twice, in America and in China. in the American reception we used a CD of johnny mercer music as recorded by various singers. in china we used a mixed track including chinese pop love songs and American classics like "you make me so very happy" (lovin spoonful) and some tunes like "mama told me not to come" from three dog night, marvin gaye, and barry white.

Ha, if I had a working crystal ball for my first marriage, would have selected Chopin's Funeral March, little did I know I was walking to my death. Lots of hoop-de-do with that affair, all good hard earned money down the drain plus a lot more to follow.

This wife is great, due to USCIS limitations, got married by a circuit judge, was really a very emotional and touching experience, this is the gal I waited a long time for. Judge was so honored we or I should say, I selected him, refused to take any money, even for his charity. We did have a nice reception the weekend afterwards with family and friends, but had to postpone our honeymoon, had immigration forms to file, we made up for that later.

Two of our friends were in the same boat and had their marriages blessed in a church after the judge, thought it was strange the bride wore a white wedding gown, they already had a couple of kids. Church weddings take forever to plan. Also can be quite expensive, read the average wedding today cost $20,000.00 and many young couples go deep in debt. Could be a down payment on a home.

Most important, is that deep commitment to each other, the rest is all trivial show that is forgotten by all the invitees the day after. Asked my wife if she wanted a church wedding, what for she responded, we are married. Even in the deepest religious sense where marriage is considered a sacrament, it is only as good as each of you bestowing that vow to each other.
