I-134 & Supporting Docs

I'm trying to get the supporting documents together to send with my I-134 to my fiancee in Japan. I'm sending an employment letter and my last year's tax return. Does anybody know if all originals are required or would it be ok if just Fax the I-134 and the supporting documents to her? Being able to Fax them would save a lot of time. Also, is it necessary to have the copy of my last tax return notarized or not? I've seen conflicting information on that.

Unfortunately the I-134 is a document that needs an original signature.

Nope not unless your consulate has a specific requirement for that.
