Hello everyone, we just officially joined the site although we've been accessing it as guests and have found VJ to be a fabulous and comprehensive resource. It's great to see an online community where there is so much support and information shared for the common good of everyone undertaking the immigration process.

My fiance and I will be marrying in December this year and then we'll begin the journey of filing the 1-130 et al, and, subsequently, the wait for final approval of the CR-1 visa.

We're very excited about beginning our new lives together and remain optimistic that the immigration process will be smooth, despite the requisite but lengthy administrative/adjudicative period.

It's interesting and empowering to read of others' experiences both positive, neutral or otherwise.

I commend the moderators and everyone on this site for their willingness to share, to help and support others.
