Hi guys!

Im in USA already 2 months, me n my hubby just started to figure it out our next paper work for appliyng for a green card. I read all of the instructions for I-639 (medical) I-485 (green card) and also i-130 (advance parole travel document). But there is a problem..my medical examination that I did in Ukraine before my interview they took it in cealed envelope in airport..which mean i dont have a copy, i only have a copy of injections and my x-ray. I looked at the list of docs from USCIS web site and we called 3 places and every one saud it will cost us 185 dollar to complete form I-693 and that i will have to do all medical cheking again. But wait a minute..i did it all in ukraine, i payed money and where is my result....they took it from me in airport in USA. Im a holder of K-3 visa, we got married in Ukraine. Plase help me, if anyone has the same problem is there any way to find and a copy of my medical thing and go to the docs appt with a copy so i wont have to do all that cr*p again and pay more money?

Another question - I wanna travel back to Ukraine to visit my mom..in instruction to form I-130 it says if I applyed for I-485 and I am K-3 visa holder I dont need a advance parol and my visa a M category which means I can travel from USA and back. Did i understood that correctly. Will I be able just buy a ticket and fly after i apply for green card. Will I need anything else in my passport to fly back and forthe from here to there?

Tank you so much!

p.s. didnt get it - should i do medical report first so that i will feel the form i-485 and send it all together or should i feel i-485 send it without i-693 (medical report)..so confusing :(

Don't worry, you do not need to do the medical again. It should all be in the sealed envelope you handed over to customs. I called USCIS today about the vaccination supplement and she said for K3 you do not need to submit the vaccination supplement since everything was completed during the medical before entering the U.S. and should be included with the medical forms in the sealed envelope. The vaccination supplement is for K1 visa holders applying for adjustment of status, not K3. Well, we will see what happens as I am mailing in my AOS paperwork this week without the supplement and we'll see if we get RFE.

K3 is a multiple entry visa and you will not be considered as having abandoned your AOS. The USCIS website has some good info on this particular subject.
