Central Florida, west coast. 1 hour northwest of Tampa. It's called "the Nature Coast" in the area where I live and north of here, because it's naturey and coasty. We have a little river that starts at a cold water spring with manatees in it!! Lots of single family homes, that's mostly what it is. I'm not going to tell you the negative aspects, but it doesn't really involve the people. Though it's mostly northerners here. But once they move here, they calm down a little. lol.

Does their shitty nasally accent disappear?

The only way I would stay in the US is if I found a decent city, that has normal people in it. I know in the US this is asking a lot but there must be normal folks out there. The city has to be modern, as I cannot stand the sorry state many cities are in, and livable. Also a city that does not have a prevalent Jay Z / ghetto thug culture.

Or should I just try Canada or move back to Aus?

Not sure about "nasally" accents. You'd hear a lot of NY accents with other northern state accents here and there. But then there are people from Ohio and the midwest too.

Anyway it's probably better for you to go back to Australia, whiner! You haven't even lived anywhere else besides the NE and you already think you know that it's hard to find normal people in the US.

While you many not criticize, even pretend there is no problem in various parts of the US, you're about as loyal as a hooker. I at least want the US to improve and get over this 2nd / 3rd world attitude that seems to have plagued the country and severely dragged it down. Cause and effect. Whereas, like many issues, you don't give a #######.

No one who has lived in London would come here and not mention a word about the vast differences in towns, cities and culture between the two; without having a hidden agenda or being an idiot. Jersey and NYC are a dump when compared to London. I also doubt that outside the minority of Chavs, you would find ghetto thuggery as popular or prevalent in London, which you seen to not notice.

Pike come on. We have chatted for years now yet not once have I seen you post about a positive attribute of London, that the US could implement. I mean while I hate the old Victorian looking style in various parts of London, the city is well maintained and clean. People are also quite friendly and normal. You should know for a fact that if I went to London with the ghetto wiggar attitude that is so cool and prevalent here, people would laugh at me. I just find it interesting that someone from such a nice city would not say, it would be nice if Jersey or NYC clean up their city and their streets too. Not a word. Yet when I bring something like this up, you seem to be puzzled by it, like it's not true.
