What are you guys talking about? Vegemite is much better than marmite. They sell marmite at whole foods might I add.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You're a Jersey thug, so you hardly represent the US.

I'm as much part of the US as the rest of us who live here. America is not its median. If America were its median the only true American would be a white female in her 50s.

True. America is not a melting pot, rather it is a salad bowl.

Well it's only a salad bowel for Hispanics and to some degree urban blacks and rednecks. Everyone else seems to blend in well. Lets not forget who in particular cannot even be bothered to learn the native language.

I thought you said that there were massive differences between the east and west coast - or did you only go to the black and hispanic areas?

PS. adding the "in particular" there makes that last sentence even more grammatically dodgy (it sounds like you're saying that everyone else who "blends in" cannot be bothered to speak the native language "in particular")

Yeah, right, clock puncher. Warm beer and mutton are so tasty, not to mention that septic sludge you put on your crackers, Vegemite

I could put you out of business in a heart beat. Only an idiot would dare challenge a foreigner from a prosperous country in this economy. Your not dealing with Afghans or Iraqis here. My credit lines alone are probably worth more than your business.

He did dare challenge you. Show him what you're made of, Aussie. Put him out of business.

If you don't do it, you shall be revealed for the p u s s y we all know you are.

Sure. Come to the area. I welcome the competition. Competion is good for everybody. I will get your client base when you fall flat on your face, as most small bussiness owners do first time out. It's not for pussies, or wankers, but old ladies do it all the time. Grow a pair and give it a try.

He doesn't have the balls or brains to be in business for himself. He needs someone to tell him what to do every step of the way. He's all talk, no action. He's a greeter at WalMart, handing out smiley face stickers to the kids.

If British grammar and sentence construction was superior, the UK wouldn't be such a shithole.

I'm sure that's what BY will say.

On other hand, poor spelling and grammar tend to make the individual look like a bit of an idiot. If they do it consistently, then you might well wonder about their level of education and their proficiency thereof ;)

If BY were the median of Australia, no ####### would want to visit it.

Pike, while I understand this is a forum but your views do not match any single Britt I know or have met. With some of the stuff you write, one would think you were locked up in a basement for the majority of your time in London. As I have said before, the biggest critics of the US are Brits. Maybe this is just a confidence or a result of a small sample of views, however, the people who loathe cities like NY the most, are BYet it does contradict the both cities are six or one, view of yours.

The aesthetic of London alone is little like NYC, more like Melbourne; even down to the Victorian style homes. It's also strange to me that Londoners clearly prefer Melbourne or Sydney over NYC. Aussies go to NYC or London, work for a few years and then go home. Londoners go to Aus and move there permanently. I would think this says something.

PS No, Aussies are not like me. First off, they don't give a ####### about politics.

So then it's fair to say that you're not the typical Australian? Perhaps your time in the US has tainted you in some way?

Who cares BY, why don't I just say that your views don't match any single Aussie I know or have ever met. Its stupid, childish argument - silly anecdotal ####### even if it weren't something you just pulled out of your #######.

The only way I would stay in the US is if I found a decent city, that has normal people in it. I know in the US this is asking a lot but there must be normal folks out there. The city has to be modern, as I cannot stand the sorry state many cities are in, and livable. Also a city that does not have a prevalent Jay Z / ghetto thug culture.

Or should I just try Canada or move back to Aus?

Forget Canada, def move back to Aus.

A certain individual’s writing skills have been well noted, as has it being used to cover up a lack of actual knowledge and substance.
