Wishing everyone an awesome day! This week will be a busy week for sure at work...happy it will go fast and not so happy that its going to be so darn busy!

Hubby finally has his license! Thank god...Is it bad that I have already started sending him out on "tasks" since about 1 hour after his picture hit the plastic on his license! And each time he says "we need" I now can hand him the keys!

Thanks guys! (F) It's a great feeling and he's super happy which makes me very happy for him. He's had his permit and has been driving but now he's free to be on his own. We used a school that did everything for us! It was awesome and no headache for me being on the road w/ him plus when he finished his classes and driving they gave him certificates and all he had to do was go the DMV and get his license. That rocked!

Luck out! I taught my husband and boy was that ROUGH! Talk about putting your life in your hands. He took the written and road test twice but his (and mine) persistance paid off in the end. Boy is it ever nice when they get their freedom! :dancing:

I agree and I think btwn the twins, his brother here and going on the road with him I would have been hospitalized. This school gives them the written exam (which he passed 100 percent first time out...he had an 8 hour class prior to taking it. I was amazed and very proud of him seeing that in Egypt there are NO rules! ). Then they schedule you for two 3 hour on the road sessions. First time out is just practice, practice and the last 3 hour class is the actual road test. He learned a lot and much more than I would have had patience for. So thank god for that! (F)

Adam and I took off 3-4 days the last week of Oct. We feel like taking a trip somewhere but not sure exactly yet. Hes wanting to fly out to NY. Im thinking about going somewhere cold like Colorado or maybe a place that Ive never been. I gotta keep thinking and keep searching for good priced flights somewhere.

I normally have zero patience and yes, there were a lot of freak outs on my end. I still check blind spots for him which drives him nuts! I still use my invisible passenger side brake...again drives him nuts! Moh had to take the road test twice because of the parallel parking. I totally forgot to teach him that one!

Tam, if you guys go to NYC ( midtown Manhattan to be precise) you'll have to stop by my husband's place of employment. He'll hook youse guys up. :D

Same with Adam for parallel parking. He was told that he had to do it in ONE backup AFTER the fact. And also on the first time the woman told him to honk. Just like that. He was like what? She said HONK. I said to her can you say it differently like beep or something. She got mad at me and said well if he doesnt know english he shouldnt be taking this test! I was ticked. Well, he always called it beeping so I never thought to tell him what honk meant by itself. The lady flunked him.
