Adam Walsh Act was signed by Pres. Bush in 2006, containing the limitation on visas. There has been no successful challenge to its constitutionality.

Prior to that, there were state sex offender registries and some have been successfully challenged in the courts.

Look honestly no one knows anyone or their situatiions here or what crimes were commited. I mean you can get sexual harassment and have to register as a sexual offender just because some woman decided to say that you looked at her funny at work and she was offended by it. By law your employer has to take action if someone is offended by another employee and what is sexual to one person could have just been a wink to someonoe else.

I guess what I am saying is that no one really knows anyones situation and celebrating the fact that someone had enough evidence to beat a very hard act means that they likely had enough evidence to redeem themselves and I am not here to judge this person.

Stuff can happen in life that can make you a "sex offender" for the rest of your life and it does not always mean it is rape or anything of the sort. People's lives have been ruined by others who hugged them wrong. So please, don't sit here saying that we are "sick" because we are congratulating someone who beat an act that was put into place to prevent those that are real and true criminals from staying in America.

Thank you.

"Successful challenge" means a determination that one or more provisions of AWA cannot be enforced anywhere in the U.S. All of these cases are at the lower court level and have not made their way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

I think I still the first guy that beat it. I have not heard of any others petitions approved. I give the advise what to do, and others do not listen specially about taking a updated Polygraph. This process has to be taken very carefully, with lots of evidence to prove one is not a risk to there spouse.

any information you could share with me would be greatly appreciated

Today was a good day. Adam Walsh petitions can rest at ease. Our visa was approved in hand. My wife will be home Tuesday next week. No questions in regards to my past, except the court paper work from my past was handed to my wife in Spanish.

My wife's knowledge of my past left the embassy without any damage to questions to ask. Thank you for those who had helped me threw certain stages of this process. I will rest my profile her on visa journey tonight.

I will be more then happy to give advise to others in need of my same situation. God bless every one on Visa journey.
