Hello everyone. I'm bringing my mom from Guatemala. She re-married many years ago, and has since started another family. Her husband and daughter live in Guatemala with my mother. In the form DS-230 (questions 31a and 31b), they are asking:

31a. Person(s) named in 14 and 29 who will accompany you to the United States now.

31b. Person(s) named in 14 and 29 who will follow you to the United States at a later date.

I only submitted one I-130 for my mom, since I'm a US Citizen, and can not submit a claim for her husband. What should she answer on those two questions?

I think that down the road, she may submit another I-130 for her husband and daughter, but for now, she is the only person coming over as part of my I-130.

Thanks for any insight this forum can bring to the subject.

Best regards,
