Spin off from the other Comcast vs DirecTV vs Dish thread:

I just read that from Oct 1 - 24 most Carriers are offering a free preview of NHL Center Ice. So if you're like me and too cheap (read poor!) to pay for it, at least you can watch HNIC for a few weeks instead of baseball :D

I know Comcast has it...I just checked :P

Haha I know my husband was SO excited about this he phoned me from work this morning. :lol:

And he didn't phone to tell me!!! :lol:

Too bad I'll actually be in Ontario on Saturday, watching HNIC on CBC on my parents brand new 46" HDTV :lol::P

Pretty exciting! We have Comcast and the inlaws literally get every channel except the NHL center ice!

Moments like this make me happy we went with the big TV :P

I'm watching the Vancouver game right now. I'm definitely not a Vancouver fan... AT ALL, but I'm really amused by the fact I get to watch Canadian commercials. They already have a new Molson Canadian one on since I've been gone!

Peachey treated me to my first NHL game in Toronto last year. It was fantastic.

I'm a big fan of the Hershey Bears personally, but they aren't NHL - they just have cheap tickets and fun games.

Plus, who can complain about chocolate and white for colors?

The Hershey Bears are in the AHL and actually, most of those guys are getting paid pretty decent money to play! MY brother played a few games in that league last year and he was making almost $1000.00 per game. More than I make! haha
