 I am just wondering, what if you got hospitalized a month or lets just say two months before your medical examination? coz honestly, I got hospitalized ... I had typhoid fever...coz I ate something, a street food  .. and I was confined for a week... its first week of October when that happened and now I am pretty well, and my medications ,and im done taking them before the month of November came in,so at this point I am not taking any medications already..and I was wondering if my previous confinement will make instances that will ruin my medical exam? :help: ..coz as I was reading NinJones's experience and stating that the doctors will ask you everything and as I was reading I am thinking as a "Nurse" myself ,for even nurses will ask History of ds., and stuffs for previous confinement for sure, It will be one of their questions, If I were confined for a disease or something...but I don't think Typhoid Fever will contribute to a failed result in my future med.exam coz its not a communicable disease in the first place...I am just wondering and taking precautions, and I might know what to answer to the creepy doctors  ... :bonk:

IMO, typhoid fever won't be that much of a deal .. all they're concerned about is TB, STD's and drug use ... It seems that all those questionings about past medical histories and tooth decay (joking aside) is somehow irrelevant and just to make it feel our 10,500 is worth it

Totally AWESOME Report NinJones!!! Mods...THIS SHOULD BE PINNED!! Luckily I had found it while searching for something else!! Much thanks to NinJones!! I sent this link to my fiance.

I have a question: Did you schedule your embassy appointment for your 3rd day in MNL? It would seem that IF everything goes normal then you can schedule 2 days for SLMCEC and 1 day for embassy. Thx again.

I have a question: Did you schedule your embassy appointment for your 3rd day in MNL?

- No, I have an appointment letter from the embassy when I took my medical.

- For people who have an interview date, upon passing the medical exam, seems like 3 days in between the medical and interview date is fine. (actually, mine is only 2 days :P)

- For people who do advance medical w/o appointment letters, I believe medical results' (upon passing) validity is 6 months, so plan well ahead of time.

It would seem that IF everything goes normal then you can schedule 2 days for SLMCEC and 1 day for embassy. Thx again.

- If I understand this right, if for example: Mon & Tue is your medical and Wednesday is your interview date (suppose that it's your interview date), they won't forward your results to the embassy (since they don't have enough time to do so), instead - they'll hand you a sealed envelope of your medical results, and that you need to bring on your interview day... well, you must have a good reason tho for taking the medical exam so close to your appointment day, else, there could be a chance that you might have to reschedule.

I'm glad you find my guide helpful :) good luck to your fiance :)
