wow that was fast!less than 2 hrs

Beth arrived for Day 2 at 2:15 and finished 30 minutes later.

I am now a big advocate of just walking in sometime during the day.

I was really shocked about the Day 1 timing, since it was just on a whim that we decided to try it

and she got there so late in the afternoon

Amazing really.

Oh, they did tell Beth that it is just a matter of how many people show up at any given time.

So maybe it is just dumb luck, but it makes a lot more sense then waiting for an hour before they open.

Is there anyone who tried to take the medical exam and didn't bring any NVC / USEM letter with their MNL case number on it? Probably what you brought was your confirmation letter after setting up an interview sched, visa photos and your medical exam fee?

The reason I asked this bec we have not received any letters from NVC or USEM. We were just verbally given with a MNL case number by NVC on Dec 10. They said our petition has already been receive by USEM on the same date. I haven't book my interview yet since I haven't started with the medical exam. Note I already paid the fee at BPI.

Thanks for all the info on where to follow up on the case number. We did that already. We are just waiting for a reply. Anyways, we (beth&chard - another VJ'er) just thought maybe someone else tired getting in line for the medical without any MNL case but already booked an interview schedule online.

Thanks and happy holidays! :)

My wife just finish taking her medical exam.

Day 1:

She had her NOA2 and the first page of her interview letter but the guard wanted all the pages of interview letter, so she went to an internet cafe next door & printed them. The guard was a little agitated so someone before may have said something to the guard. On her return the guard was calm & helpful.

She said that everyone was nice & helpful except the female doctor she had. She say that the doctor was rude. The entire procedure was as explained on page 1.

Day 2:

She had to return at 1pm.

Upon return, her receipt was stamped Immunization. I keep texting her to tell me what it say - she keep texting me back saying that she is just waiting & there was a lot of people also waiting.

Then she texted me back saying that she had 2 vaccine shots - tetanus & measles, then I knew what the results was.

They also gave her the x-ray cd to take to the interview.

When she return home, we chatted a little that is when she told me that immunization was stamped on her receipt. She knew all along but was making me wait :bonk:

Hi, I had my medical exam today... I went there at 4am and I got no. 21..hahaha...

I am praying that my x-ray results would yield normal..I am a nurse and certainly I got exposed to patients having different lung diseases that's why I am really nervous regarding x-ray...I'll be having my interview on January 20,2011 if everything works out fine...Thank you for this topic, it really helped me a lot :)
