there usually isn't an interview at the ROC stage..

and also he can apply for naturalization sooner then 3 years from now... a person can apply 3 years after becoming a permanent resident (conditional or not) if married to a USC

Really? I was sure there is usually an interview with LIfting of Conditions. I was also told that he couldnt apply until 5 years from the date of his first Green Card.

Congrats! Yeah you had an interview at the AOS stage so you didn't need one this time around. At least that's what I've noticed. Ahh freedom from USCIS for awhile...isn't it sweet??

nope, there usually isn't an interview.. some people are interviewed but it isn't the norm..

and no it is 3 years after the first card, if married to a USC

Great news, congrats.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
