Your application to adjust status has been approved, they also gave me a second letter saying i have been granted Conditional Permenant Residence Status. Perhaps because he is a new officer, he needs to have a supervisor sign off on any cases he does, just to make sure he does everything right on his end. That might explain any possible delay. I don't know for sure, but I think I've read other AOS interview stories on here where the officer has said something to the effect of "you're approved, but I'm new so my supervisor just needs to look over your case."

Right now it hasn't even been two weeks since the interview. I'd say give it a little bit more time to see if anything happens or comes in the mail before getting too worried.

Congrats on getting this far, and I hope everything else goes well for you!

To be sincere iam a bit worried as i did not receive update or touching on my case status prompting any email of being welcomed to America, is this normal not to get touched after the interview and receive your green card in the mail in a couple of weeks, please anyone with such an experience like my own should please help to give a responsive and positve advice i have not been myself eversince then thanks to all that is reading this email i welcome all advice.

Kind of off your topic but I am so glad to hear that someone else was not able to get a joint bank account because their spouse does not have an SSN. Phew. I was shakin in my boots cos I have my interview in 4 weeks time and no EAD yet. But anyways, you are so lucky to have already dealt with your interview. You should get your card soon. They should've stamped something in your passport too .. did they not?
