Hi Folks.

I am in dilema. I got IMBRA RFE on July 3rd like most of you and sent it back through overnight delivery which has been received by USCIS. But the USCIS website neither shows any touch(es) nor i ever got any email from them. Is this happening to any one else.? I have subscribed for the email option and i visit the website frequently but No touch ever in the past few months but yet i get the snail mail on time. Can you guys plz shed some light on this.?

Same here but after my senators office spoke to them it appears they immediately sent me another IMBRA form as if I had never received one. I'm guessing maybe they did not get yours either so you may wanna contact them. Mine of course managed to get shredded in the post office sorter too. Ahh don't you just love dealing with government agencies.

Hell NO.

So I should assume that they never got my IMBRA RFE.

What if i call and they just send another one for the sake of " look busy do nothing".

I am going to become schizophrenic soon and i have no health insurance as well.

Thanx for your input though

You said you sent them through overnight delivery which has been received by USCIS. Then on your next message you said "so I should assume that they never got my IMBRA RFE," sounds like a question than a statement. If you know for sure that USCIS has received (by tracking the mail) your RFE, then you can not do anything except waiting.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Yes i tracked the IMBRA RFE through USPS website and they have received it on July 7th. But why dont I get any email or see any touch(es) since then. :help:

Some people get emails from USCIS and some don't before the approval. So I would not be worried that much about emails. Touching means someone at the USCIS worked on your case on that day. All you can do is to wait. I am not sure where you are for your I-130.

I can understand your situsation. I was in the same situation till this morning. I send my RFE back on July 5th. I did not get any email back from them till this morning finally. I was reading other people's response that some got the email immediately some got it in few days and some got RFE sent twice. Anyway... I will advice you to wait and it takes at least 2 weeks for them to repond to your email. After two weeks you can write to them.

Tell her almost everyone got a 2nd IMBRA RFE. I got my duplicate today, as well. What can you do? I just sent it right back like I did the first one. If they have 2, then they can only be double sure...I suppose.

Just take comfort that you are not the only one confused.

add me to the list.

i got my 2nd bundle of RFE joy today. stoked.

Maybe they're stuck in some sort of parallel universe where everything is double (emails, rfe's, what else..)

That's ok, they can go ahead and give me two approvals. I don't mind.

chris&o, you're killing me. Loved your had-too-many-beers description of Diversion Day. How about a web cam and some stand up comedy?

khattak, don't put too much store in emails. I received one, telling me they were sending me a request for more information. It arrived AFTER I'd already sent it back to them. I also received a second RFE and mailed it back to Missouri. Which means I may (or may not) get an email soon, telling me they mailed it to me.

There's no rhyme of reason. We're doomed if we look for any. Sometimes you have to throw your hands in the air, put on a silly hat, and distract yourself until the chaos turns itself back into order. Tell your wife what my husband tells me: it'll happen when it happens.
