So I submitted mine this Monday. Still no NOA1 but I at least have been able to get the tracking number and see that they've been working on it the last two days. :)

Hey, does anyone know how to get to the regional section for Australia? I'd like to ask around there but haven't been able to find a region forum anywhere.

You probably found this on your own already, but if you go on the main forums page, in the Regional Discussions (under General Discussion area) there is a sub-forum for Asia: East and Pacific (except China). This is where the New Zealanders are, so I assume the Aussies will be there too.

Good luck and speedy processing!

It is Vet's day tomorrow, so there is going to be a slow down as we head into a holiday season, and I am certain that some people at the Vermont center is going to take more than a day off this week. Here in Washington DC, the road has been much less traffic during rush hour. I know, it is a dreaded wait for some unknown, but what else can you do? Wish all of us luck!

True, then there's Thanksgiving coming in here in a couple of weeks, that'll slow it down a few more days as the average government worker will likely make it a long weekend. Sigh.

Begun planning of course, but have not set a date. Setting a date is just too risky even though it seems like the process should take no more then 6-8 months. There's always that chance of AP, which is administrative processing, that takes additional time. Something we all hope and pray never happens to anyone.

I am actually chatting with my sister/wedding planner right now about ours. :) I set a tentitive date. One good thing is that the wedding coordinator at the location we found is a woman who immigrated from Mexico to be with her husband. So she's actually been through the whole visa process too. She's helping us out by re-booking our wedding date for a later time if something happens.

Based on the last page or so it seems like I am the only one having any luck out of the October people. Hope all of you can soon join me in getting over the NOA2 hump.

I just received a letter from the NVC saying they received the approved I-129F and will be forwarding it to my fiance's embassy next week. This is all happening much faster than what I anticipated. Hope the rest of the process goes as smoothly as it has up until now.

Yes, it seems you're the one that "tricked" everyone else's projected timeline to process around 30 days, only to quickly digress the other way.... not your fault, just your good luck.

Ok Octoberians, let's all hope and pray that VSC staffers get in a good mood before thanksgiving and punch out a bunch of NOA2's.

OK, I think we are officially dead in water, for now. Hopefully we will get some better luck next week, before the VSC people burn down the house for Black Friday. Come on VSC, let's get our game face together and...

Give me a N... "N"!

Give me an O... "O"!

Give me an A... "A"!

And what's that number again? "2"!

Hang in there JR. It is not like VSC is not sending any NOA2s. They are working. I am sure just not as fast as you would like and who knows in what kind of order. Looking at the stats I can see that I was extremely lucky. Wish you the best and soonest.

I was glad to hear Engineer06 received a notice from the National Visa Center. I was not aware that NVC sent notices. My beneficiary, Xiyun, is working hard to prepare the documents she will need for the interview. She will be coming to the US within a couple days of getting the VISA.

I now have all the documents I will need to send to her in China. I will mail them on Monday. Between then and now I must evaluate what is the best way to send them. I want speed but more than anything else I guess I want security. A lot of the documents are originals and can not be replaced.

Best of luck to all.

LMAO!!! Should we start an October NOA2 wave as well to get them motivated? :P

I'm thinking that it's just the holidays. VSC was probably trying to crank out a bunch before the holidays so that when they got back they wouldn't be swamped. My timeline is pretty interesting cause it says that I should have my NOA2 by Christmas. :P Not a bad present.

Besides I don't mind the wait. I'm up for a possible promotion in the next week or two which means that my Affidavit of Support will look even better with my pay raise. :D If I'd gotten it earlier then I wouldn't have the extra bump in pay grade.
