checking this list every 1 hour.

http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/vsc.aspx

I certainly won't draw my conclusion on Igor's list, even it may be the only information we have. I mean, Igor's list relies on the data entered by the members of this forum (not everyone enter their data, less accurately), and members of this forum only represents a very tiny percentatage of petition filers, if that. So basically I will keep my faith, and I will wait.

Wow, just got a text from the VSC saying my application is approved. No way did I think it would get approved that fast especially since it seems like it takes 3 months to get the NOA2. I thought at first it was a mistake, but seeing other people's timelines now it appears I am not alone. I didn't even start preparing for the next step since I thought I had more time and was going to begin in November. Guess I know what I will be doing this weekend.

Congratulations Engineer 06! That is good news. I think it is good news for all of us if VSC is working that quickly. I know I am encouraged because my timeline dates have, to this point, been exactly the same as yours.

Here's to hoping you get your approval soon as well. Maybe they changed the system and made it more streamlined recently because going from 3 months on average to 3 weeks is a huge difference.

I signed up for the updates from the USCIS website so that is how I found out. Based on looking at others timelines, it looks like it will take a week for the hard copy to come.

My wife and I began this visa journey just over a year ago and she now has her green card in hand. It is a relatively complicated and potentially long process. Nonetheless it can be done quickly and painlessly. Visa Journey is an excellent resource to have while going through the steps. Practically everything is answered in the Guides at the top menu. Most other questions have already been answered and are searchable on these forums. The support of fellow journeyers is priceless.

Wish you all the best.

I wouldn't say greedy but maybe a little anxious. I have read on this site before how these petitions are not processed in exact chronological order. That is sure to give rise to some anxiety but I guess no matter how difficult it may be, we must all exercise some amount of patience so that we can continue to be of sound mind. I see there are quite a few filers in September who have also not received a decision. I wonder if some of the others from longer past have just abandoned this site after the NOA2 but I am just a newbie as well. I wish you the best of luck. We have our timing and destination in common. I hope this is your luck week!

Thanks "George and Xiyun", I wish you the best of luck too, maybe this upcoming week will be our lucky week. By the way, I went to middle school in China with a "Xiyun", about 2 hours from Guangzhou anyway, so we may indeed have something in common...

Anyway, it is always great to have someone and something in common, related and felt that we are in the same boat...
