Oh no Bacon, not more growling. Make April for what, his interview? Or him coming over? Can't he take a "sick" day (luckily my boss lets us take "mental illness" days!). Just stay focused on the goal, it will all come together in the end.

April for him coming over. He bought us concert tickets for a Nickleback concert in April. But since he refuses to take a sick day to get any of this stuff done then we're pretty much stuck missing out on the concert. So frustrating.

And still nothing from the NVC on whether they sent the request to the embassy or not. I'm calling Friday since that's the two week mark.

Call the NVC at 603-334-0700 press 1 then 5. You will need to reach a live person to get information on your case since the NVC’s automated system does not handle K1 visas. Give this person your I-797 NOA1 receipt #, they will let you know if your package has been received.

I emailed NVC and got a quick response from them indicating they had received it and forwarded it to the embassy.

And the good news is...already received at NVC and on it's way over the ocean to the Embassy.

And the news is......I got the P3 today. I didn't get contacted by NVC at all. Just got the NOA2 and then the P3 email.

Bad part, I haven't talked to my guy since Sunday except for a quick email where he told me that he hasn't done anything other than work and sleep all week...just like last week. The packet actually says that we have four months where he has to have his visa in hand or else we have to start over. I'm actually starting to think that we might not make it in four months because he can't seem to get anything done on this visa without me doing the bulk of the work for him.

And the news is......I got the P3 today. I didn't get contacted by NVC at all. Just got the NOA2 and then the P3 email.

No they email all of the P3 info to me. And they gave me my case number for the Sydney portion of the process. The email also contains all of the links and documents that's needed to be filled out.

It's actually pretty nice. They have everything set out step by step so you can just go to a link get what you need and submit. I don't know if all of the embassies are going to be like that or not though.

The NVC’s e-mail address is NVCINQUIRY@state.gov.

In order to ensure a prompt response:

The Subject Line of the e-mail should be the relevant NVC Case Number.

Provide the applicant’s name and date of birth and the petitioner’s name and date of birth.

If you are an attorney, include the name of the law office requesting the information.

If the petition is employment-based, include the company/organizational name.

Reference only one case per e-mail.
