Congrats Gela!

But they've been at the December pile again. A 15th Dec filer. Good for them. 39 days from NOA1 to NOA2.

And to top it all for me, Mr Doghandler was coming over to Scotland today, we've not seen each other for 4 months (cos we have those baggage items, he's got kids (total single parent dad) and dog and I've got dogs so we can't just pop over as regularly as we'd like so every trip has to be planned with military precision for child and dog care for both of us), but as I'm clearly cursed, there just had to be a 48 hour ice storm in the Carolina's today of all days and he just got a call from the ariline - flight cancelled! A total awesome week my end! Let the good times roll I say! Hope you're all having a better weekend than I am! x

Oh Ms. D., I'm sorry for you. I've got the 4 month blues too. Hope Mr. D. will soon be on his way.

As a sideline, I often watch people's animals...dogs, horses, birds, even potbellied pigs. Sometimes "getting away" is stressful in itself!

And Bacon...can I have your "extra" NOA2????? :D

Yeah it seems me and you are keeping the average days leveled out for all those 30-40 day people. I have been getting annoyed seeing people who got their NOA1 2 weeks before us and already have their interviews scheduled. I just checked USCIS and nope, still no update for us. Sorry to hear about the snow storm.

Congrats Gela!

Laura J - I love you, you good mama, animal loving, political activist salt of the earth woman! I am soooooooooo happy for you! I've just logged on after a horrible day, and this news has lifted me so high! Herzlichen Glückwunsch! Get the chocolate cookies out for the kids and crack open the champagne!

Am about to call Mr Doghandler as it will lift him, as he sits in his house kicking his suitcase, ranting and raving about VSC! He'll be flying tomorrow instead, weather permitting and a day late is better than not at all.

Your news, a good end to bad day indeed. x

Mate that sucks. I was flying to Orlando during our "big freeze" at the beginning of jan to see my boy and my flight got cancelled twice. I was actually only a day late in the end but it felt like the end of the world having not seen him for 4 months, so I massively feel your pain. And I never want to see the inside of gatwick airport EVER again!!

LOL! And much as we hate VSC, at least they can't be blamed for ice storms and grounded planes! Surely they're not THAT powerful! At least he's stuck in his house and not at airport, cos he would then have airport rage on top of visa rage and probably be arrested! He'll be on his way tomorrow, like you only 1 day late.

Sterling work you're doing on the spreadsheet on the other thread. Man, you've got them all working at it! You're gonna end up getting a PhD out of this or something! Anyway, it'll help me while away the hours waiting for Mr D, and keep me away from scoffing all the food I've got in for him to console myself! x

Thanks! And good luck to all of you on your journey!

Doghandler, are you in Scotland? We are in Aberdeen :-) It looks like we will be moving out by May ( hopefully) Have lots of things with us plus our baby. Not moving forward to all packing etc., but very excited about the BIG CHANGE :-)

I am indeed. Edinburgh. But I'm not a fan of the place! I do love your Aberdeen butteries, those butter laden bad-for-you rolls. Moving will be a total nightmare, but I'm hoping, like childbirth, a pain easily forgotten!

I am now so relieved and happy that you, Bacon and Laura i.e. mothers of dependent children have now all got your NOA2. Mine should be right round the corner x

You are a classy lady, Ms. D. To be not only composed but so elated for us, after your horrible day and the delay of the beloved Mr. D.

I must admit I have a bit of the "guilts" like Ms.Webb felt a few weeks ago.

We are in this together now, and I'm just as anxious for those of you still waiting!

You know I'm still praying for you all to get your good news as soon as possible.

In the meantime, Ms. D., enjoy your reunion and I truly hope you will be celebrating some good news during Mr. D's visit.
