For us Octoberians and rest of the VJ Family feeling down, here's a video from The Office wedding that is sure to put a smile on your faces. I'm sure many of you may have already seen this but what the heck, I love it to death.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LAuhUp8Uh8...feature=related

Kabhatti You are fast becoming the moral booster of our Octoberian troops!

A Scottish New Year greeting to my fellow comrades -

May visas be granted to all you good men

And may your RFE's be as few as there's teeth in a hen!

OK guys, I just got touched today!!!! Might be good news finally.

when you say touched, does that mean the case file is updated on the web site?

I've been "untouched" for 65 days, and have been told that it will be 90 days until it is even assigned.

#######?

happy New Years to all of you by the way))))

Hope all is well

05-21-2009 filed I-129F (check was not cashed for quite some time)

08-21-2009 contacted Senator's Office

09-01-2009 Petition received, NOA1 sent (finally)

10-09-2009 Petition approved, NOA2 sent

10-16-2009 NVC received

10-26-2009 NVC sent back to USCIS((( their reason: a USCIS office received this case from the State Department with a request that we review it. We will notify you when we complete our review, or if we need something from you

No RFE has been sent or received, no updates given, all trails end with recording or operator/officer who says must wait 180 days

1-26-2010 this will be the 90 day mark of the "review", I was told I can call back and issue a formal complaint if the case has not been touched by this date.

Still, we keep hope alive - I love her so much for staying strong.

Well, it could mean nothing, but if it is something, the only thing that changed on the USCIS site is where it says "last updated" It changed from Oct. 29 to Dec. 30th. That could mean someone or something moved it, opened it, dropped it, shredded it, threw it away or used it for a cafeteria tray along the way. I think we all get grumpy when we haven't been touched for 65 days, especially us men. But that was another thread awhile back. :)

Ha ha - that was funny - the 65 days comment.

Yeah, this year is going to be a good one, I'm sure of it. I'm just hoping its earlier in the year than later.

Keep hope alive. Happy New Year.

What is up with China and the Philippines being the only ones getting approved non-stop? This is getting frustrating.

Bacon - there's LOTS of denials at China...

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yea just called tonight, my exact words were "just wanted to know if you've (NVC) received my case."

And then she told me "yes we have, its in Administrative processing now, and there's no time frame for that."

Like i said before, i was already prepared to wait 6 months before i wait my 3 months for it to arrive at GUZ...

Haven't posted in this thread in a while but I'm happy to say that we just had out interview at the embassy today and we were approved!

No blue slip and they kept her passport telling s they would mail it to us within a week! I think we are the first VSC October K1 filers to get to this point. It was an insanely fast 93 days from petition sent to interview approval at the Embassy in Seoul, Korea.

Interview was very short and the only questions asked were:

How did you meet?

When did you decide to get married?

When will you go to the US?

and Where will you stay in the US?.

The whole process took us an hour and a half from the moment we walked in the embassy. We are so happy now and we wish everyone good luck in their visas as well! :star:
