Hi All :)

Apologies if I appear thick, but I can NOT find a source of the correctly-sized / positioned photo required by the USCIS for my application.

I live in Manchester (UK) and have even tried to Photoshop my own (without success). How has everyone else obtained pics to these Specifications?

Can anyone help with this?

Cheers in advance

:)

I used the epassportphoto site for our 129F and everything went through fine.

I used to live in Bolton near Manc & I used a photographer. They can do them in US size format for you but he was expensive at 25 quid.

Thanks VERY much for your advice everyone. Just been quoted £35 by a photographer and I already have a good shot of myself, so I'm gonna try the epassportphoto site. Thanks so much again for your valuable help. Have a great day :)

Try http://www.passpic.co.uk . I used them for the I-129F , and there didn't seem to be a problem. They're very fast, and they also check all photos to make sure they're compliant before processing them, which is an added reassurance.

I tried looking for a place to go to get mine done for the I-129F, but the only one nearby said that their passport photo machine was broke and wasn't due to be fixed for another 10 days (at least) so I went with passpic because I was just too impatient to wait.

I've used them again more recently for the passport pics I'll need at the interview. Again, I'm a happy customer. I even think they might have edited the picture I submitted slightly, since the colours are a lot clearer than the ones on my original.

For our original application, UK passport photos were acceptable.... and inside the embassy there is a photo machine. Not the best solutions there ever were, but... don't panic. There are last minute options.

On the 1st December the photo machine inside the embassy was out of order. It may well have been fixed but be prepared before the day!

Gould's Pharmacy (where people suggest leaving your bags, just down the road from the Embassy) is one of the cheaper places to get photos. If I'd known, I'd have got mine there (before the interview! I was in London for my medical a few days earlier). I got an extra set (always like to be careful) in a poky little place on Oxford Street.
