oh that is awful. i know this has been said a million times, but AP sucks and why oh why do they have to do it?!

anyway, webcam must be nice. my hubby and i dont have webcam... :(

Girl you need a webcam and mic, I think I spent 20.00USD for mine. Im with ya Christeen on the bouts of getting to see your husband, I see most get the daily chats and cam or skypes. When hubby goes back to the camp we can text and talk in only when other military men are not around. He does get a break once a month, but thats hard too to say goodbye. I feel very positive though still and we have been married since last May, I guess we had to just accept we knew what we were getting into and just have tried to stay positve. I cry to at times but when I get to see my hubby he always has the right things to say to make me feel better. You all have been a great support to, I don't know what I would of done had I not found this website its been great to have you all.

Reminds me of that movie with Joe Pesci, in My Cousin Vinny, Whats a grit? LOL

but i did love pecan pie and black eyed peas... mmmm...

When your here in USA I will bake you a pecan pie, so good, You'll slap your mama!!

as for the shirt rings.. i got one already!

i have andys new york nicks jersey hehe and i looove it. i wear it to bed sometimes hehe

Dear Mrsemcee,

I understand how hard it is. I died inside when I had to return to America without my Loke. He is my life and soul and I felt like I left my entire being with him. He was my sould mate, my new husband, my future and my life and I didn't think anyone could understand the love that I felt for this man who was over 8,000 miles away. I am from Colorado and I had never seen the ocean since I went to Australia and it was so amazing and beautiful and breathtaking that I couldn't handle leaving.

I found that when I returned to America I was lifeless. I couldn't eat, I could't sleep, I couldn't smile and I couldn't even cry. I was so sad and so lost without him. I took one of his shirts with me when I left and I could smell him. I longed for him with all the power inside of me and we would talk on web cam and I would hold that shirt religiously.

I went to work one day and my mom thought it would be nice to come and do my laundry to help me out because she is a nutcase. She washed the shirt :(

I bawled my eyes out. I know she didn't mean to wash it. I know she meant only to help me. I lost his smell :( omg it was like someone had just burned my house down I was so devistated. Loke saw how messed up I was from it so he slept in a shirt for a couple of days, wrapped it in plastic and mailed it to me. People don't know how something so small can carry you through such a heartwrenching time.

I guess what I am saying is that I understand and tell him to mail you a shirt. Trust me... his smell will somehow comfort you whenever you feel lost and alone.

Love my Aussies *hugs*

mwahahahahah yeh i have a million and one photos. i wanted to make my icon the excited donna pic for CASE COMPLETE coming up soon hehe

i just spent $50 AU sending international courier so my DS230 will arrive in the USA on tuesday!

woot

that reminded me that when i was in india last, i took his cologne that he wore everyday. so now i spray my sheets and pillow every time i change the bed.

donna, i love the pics, you keep changing up on us :)

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I'm here!! I have a wonderful lazy mans schedule... I like to edit my photos at night, its dark and quiet and nobody bugs me and I can see my editing screen better... Plus, most of my weddings are evening events... So I am usually up until about 2AM editing and I sleep until about 10 - 11 AM... We'll see how that schedule holds because my hubby will be on a day schedule (but he will still be traveling a lot going all over to fix ships)

My momma is the one with all the southern sayings... She is a Tenn girl, I just like to use them as they make me laugh. I have worked hard to not talk with too thick of an accent (I used to work as a voice over talent years ago) but when I get off the phone with her or my friends from Tenn, boy oh boy, it sounds like ya plucked me off the mnt. top!!!

No word on interview, check next week, blah blah blah... But I got to chat with the hubby today on Skype!!! YAY!!!

10/14/2000 - Met Aboard a Cruise ship

06/14/2003 - Married Savona Italy

I-130

03/21/2009 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago lockbox

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

I just got off phone with my hubster, I hated hanging up, the good-byes on a phone call rip my heart out.

I slept with my teddy last night, held it tight all night long wishing it was him. The closer we get in this process, the more I feel my heart breaking and longing for him even more then ever. Not going to be a good weekend, I see and feel it coming.

Truly happy!!!

I know how you feel... After finally gettting to see my hubby on skype, I had to tell him that there is no interview and no idea when it will be scheduled... After him being out of contact on the ship for so long I could see he was soooo excited and expecting some news... Broke my heart to tell him otherwise

I know the closer it is, the farther it seems... Sometimes when I get impatient before a trip to visit, I get busy and pack my suitcase like I am leaving to see him (I end up unpacking and using the stuff I packed) but sometimes it makes me feel like I am leaving really soon... (i take a lot of time and iron stuff and everything) even if it is a few weeks away... I eventually have to unpack and re-pack, but it keeps me busy... I know it sounds really stupid, but works for me!!!

I've been fighting posting in the "depressed" forum but I can't put it off any longer. Today is two weeks since case complete and no interview date. There was someone that completed two weeks before me that was scheduled around the first of October for Nov 17 in San Salvador. That makes me think that San Salvador schedules two months out which by my logic means I won't get an interview until December. :( This really sucks. We got married in Feb while I was living in El Salvador. We lived together there until two weeks ago when I had to return to the US because of work. I was thinking that we would only be apart a month or 5 weeks until interview. Now I'm beginning to think it'll be more like two months. I know that most of you have been away from your spouses much longer than that but this is the longest we've been apart since we started dating. I DON"T LIKE IT. Therefore, I'm a bit depressed today.

That is all.
