And if one more person asks me, When is your husband coming home, they are getting B!tch slapped.

i have often wanted to just get a tape recorder and just play it for whoever wants to ask. it is also why i just decided to keep updating facebook.

What a great email. Your husband loves you and I'm sure he understands all the emotions you've been going through. Just hang in there for you it's almost over. You got this far together and you'll both make it the rest of the way.

When I was pregnant with my son I had a lot of medical problems and was in a lot of pain. I thought about ending the pregnancy but my mother told me that the pain wouldn't last forever and that one day I would hold my baby in my arms. Her words brought me so much comfort and saved the pregnancy. That is how I'm going to look at this immigration thing. One day it will be over and I will hold my husband in my arms.

My birthday is Sunday. I was depressed my husband wouldn't be with me. He told me to invite my friends and family over for cake and ice cream. I did and now I'm going to have a party like I did when I was a kid. I will have everyone talk to him on the cam and it will make me feel like he is here with us.

What a wonderful idea! My Knight wasn't there for my last birthday, but my friends took me to paint ceramic pots and that kind of thing, and then we went and had a meal. It was so lovely, and it uplifted me so much. Also, I second that without a doubt, you and your husband love one another very much.

Hang in there, all of you. Things are so radiant on the other side, and there I was thinking that I'd never get here. Have faith!

Ok... so tonight I am kind of down too... I was really hoping to hear something about an interview, I guess for some reason I did not think that Italy Consulate would be super busy... However, NVC has not scheduled anything, I am really hoping for something this week... I wrote Naples consulate asking about what I need to do to get an earlier interview date (can't blame a girl for trying, right), but they do not have my file so of course could not help me...

Now I was thinking, it is very strange that my husband and I have been married for over 6 years and together for 9 and for all these years of him going away on the ship, not seeing each other for 2 months at a time etc... Seperation has not really bothered me... In fact, I did not even think that we would be living together anytime soon... But now that it is literally a month or two away... each day seems like forever... Why is that? My thoughts are that perhaps because it is someone else telling us we cannot be together that it seems longer? Make sense? The dog don't wanna go in the road till ya put up a fence???

To top it off, my husband is on a ship, 32 miles from the coast near Rotterdam Netherlands with no phone, we can only talk via the captains phone for about 5 minutes at 11 AM each day... Hopefully he will be done on the ship by Friday!!! Miss talking to him :luv:

Thanks for lettin my kettle vent a bit!!!

I told everyone at work. I couldn't imagine trying to keep it all in. They're all cool with it though :)

 i guess i could have clarified. everyone in my local office in the usa knows. it is people in the indian office that we have not told. basically because we had an office romance. he no longer works for our company, and i haven't been back to the indian office since i left in 2007. however, they are still on my work messenger list, and my last name has been changed, so immediately the rumors started flying around. so to get them to shut up, i did some maneuvering :jest: told them i met my husband in the usa, etc.

after last year's disaster with the k1, my boss is fully aware who my husband is, how we met, etc. she has even looked into me getting a job in india just in case i cannot get the husband here.

if i told everyone at work i would be sacked tomorrow!

i moved back from sydney to melbourne when i met andy, and i was previously in a secure job in sydney at a big company.

when i moved back to melbourne after being in america for 3 months, i found it hard to get work so i have only been in my current role for 3 months. i am still on probation and i just dont mention my family life. they know im married to an american, but no one really talks to me much (its local government so i am safe hehehe)

anyway it is TERRIBLY hard not to mention it sometimes.. but i look forward to the day i can go in and say BYE BYE! koz i really dont like my job much anyway haha. its just a middle job til i go... you know?

its nice you have a supportive workplace! oh mike, also, i looked at your wedding pics on the website you linked to and they are soooo gorgeous. i love the harbour. so beautiful.
