Yep.. The left complained about Bush going to Camp David all the time, but Obama gets a pass for "fighting" and failing to get the Olympics for Chicago while troops are dying. Meanwhile when the troops are dying in Afghanistan the President decides what the best political strategy will help him in the PR department.

And while troops have been dying, you've been taking a dump, shopping, eating dinner....

Afghanistan isn't the only thing the President has to think about, you know.

Really? I thought during the October crash he said he didn't need to suspend his campaign because "the president can do more than one thing at a time". I guess he failed on that front as well. He is incapable of doing more than one thing at a time.

Technically when the President is at Camp David its not much of a vacation as it has all of the capabilities of the white-house and the staff follows.

Nearly all of Bush's cabinet followed him to Camp David and to the Texas White-house.

The point is that you all were outraged by it, and don't care what Obama does. I don't care if he goes on a date with his wife - my comments are always to illustrate your hypocrisy. Even though you guys do a very good job of it on your own.

What will Obama do concerning the war he spoke so supportively about During the Campaign?

He had the answers then, now he is silently idle.

When he is not wowing the Olympic committee... he has Michelle on the town.

So Danno, by your logic, a president is suppose to dedicate 100% of his waking time to solving Afghanistan?

He should have joined the fight - like Bill Pullman's character in Independence Day.

 Nice double standard here I agree.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Priorities? Danno, you don't have any. This is the same lame outrage as you have over his birth certificate, supporting the Olympic bid and Michele making mistakes in her speeches. You know what is ridiculous though? While you and people like you cry 'wolf' every five seconds the real politics washes over your heads and the real outrages continue on unabated.

Spot on. I deal with a lot of these contractors and higher ranking military types. They're all a bunch of self-serving crooks. According to some here, as long as these guys are private businesses, they should be allowed to rob the country blind. They should be allowed to steal from the people and so on. They're private, as such, should not be regulated or questioned. Only government should be regulated and questioned, since by nature they are apparently the bad guys.

Crazy, looking for a handful of terrorist and blowing up an entire country, then trying to rebuild it. Afghanistan doesn't have an infrastructure, never did with talk about building one with more talk about educating an entire country with our way of thinking. Generals like to think in terms of war with large armies, but for both Iraq and Afghanistan, they don't even know who their enemy is, no different than Viet Nam, that was another hell hole. And we had to follow the rules of engagement, the enemy didn't, that's not fair.

We have more generals today than we had during WW II, job security relies on us having a war. Have to realize our objectives, killing terrorists, can be done with a handful of guys just for the money involved, and dressed like the enemy, not targets like our troops. Both my brother and I developed a strong hate for government contractors, no risk, and big fat paychecks, hell, when we got out, joined them for some of that gravy, but only for a couple of years, gave us the cash we needed to get started in life. Felt we were both far more conscientious because we know what our troops are going through. We been there and have done that, but most of them didn't go through that, a bunch of rich kid spoiled brats, just like the leaders of our country.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

despite the fact that all wars are started by democrats and republicans do the same bidding (Republicans small government? ROFLOL) Dems and repubs are the same. No one had caught on yet? It's not like they're really two different parties....they collude in private all the time; the biggest fleecing people are oblivious to.

Ask yourself why Obama is continuing Bush's policies (just talking differently) but look at the record...he's a bush

I am sure he kept policies that made sense. Only a child would do the total opposite, out of spite, rather than analyze the situation objectively.

I've said it 100 times and will say it again, the problem here is with the system itself. A system which only second and third world countries are left using.

Really? Do a search on this board and find one single post where I whined about Bush going to Camp David, or in any way not being around to do his job. You won't find any. No double standard.

Tool.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

But your hero W was on the job 24/7, never took a minute off in 8 years.

This isn't about W, it's about Obama.

Its about deflection and denial!

It's not about anything except people with too much time on their hands and too little sense to use discernment in looking at politics. If the roar of the talking heads is your cup of tea, no amount of talking about real issues is going to satisfy. It's heady stuff this outrage.

It's time for you to send Obama a pink slip. If you simply can't part with your pink slip, any color will do.
