I recently moved and during the move, I somehow misplaced the letter inviting me for the interview. I looked everywhere, and I don't have any luck in finding it. :(

I know it is tomorrow at 2 pm.

What should I do?

Look again, if that doesn't work, clear your mind of all thoughts and say a very reverent pray to St. Anthony and ask him to guide you to where that letter doesn't work. If that doesn't work, gather up all of your original evidence, passport, green card, and a drivers' license or other photo ID and show up an hour early explaining that you misplaced your letter and looked everywhere, begging for mercy.

My mind is drawing a blank on this, could go through all of our records to see if they even gave that letter back to my wife, kept it, or tossed it away, she is not here now, on call, but I could ask her, if she can remember that far back. You alos have to think about your civics test, your English looks very good. Good luck, will also say a pray for you.

I totally spaced out and didnt bring the interview letter itself. I was totally lost over there when they said what I brough was not the interview letter - I was so spaced out ;p . Anyway, they were very nice and let me pass the security and got me to a lady at the desk and she printed a copy out for me after she verified my interview date. I also shwed them my reciept (the one I thought was my interview letter) and the biometric appointment letter.

I dont know if your office will be as nice, but there's light in the tunnel!

K-1 = 4 months

AOS = 5 months

I-751 = almost one year

Hi Auria,

Sorry to hear that you misplaced your letter...lol...totally understand that things get misplaced when one moves...heck, I'm still trying to find my stuff after I moved in August...

Don't worry about looking for it now, since it's too late and more stressful to do such. Instead, just worry about preparing for your interview in other ways (preparing to get there, gathering the evidence, studying for the test, etc.). I'm sure if you explain your situation at the door, and show them your ID, then they will accomodate your original interview date and time.

Hope this helps. Good luck at your interview and good luck for your journey too.
