Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Romania
Timeline

I think we received NOA1. Dont know what else it can be... It says Notice of Action - I-797. Also says received. The receipt number looks like this eac-xx-xxx-xx. It has 13 characters if u count the dashes as well. But when i check it on uscis website, it says "The application receipt number entered is invalid. Please check your receipt number and try again". Any idea why is that?

NOA1 - 09/18/2009

Touched - 10/22/2009

NOA2 - 10/22/2009

NOA2 hard copy received - 10/30/2009

NVC letter received - 10/31/2009

Received package 3 - 11/06/2009

Sent the papers required in package 3 to the embassy - 12/04/2009

My fiance arrived in Romania - 01/31/2010

Medical - 02/01/2010

Interview - 02/02/2010 - Visa approved!!!!

Entered USA (POE: Atlanta) - 02/15/2010

Marriage - 05/08/2010

did u try it with the eacxxxxxxxx with out the dashes

Yep, I did... Same problem....

i dont know how long it has been since ur noa1 but maybe its not in the system yet......also when it has 0 be sure not to put o was a mistake i made at first........

if u just received the noa1 give it a week if it still dont work call and find out what the problem is

It took me 3 months of contacting uscis and a email to finally be able to view my status entering my receipt number. The phone calls proved to be useless, but the email proved to help. Log onto uscis.gic and email them and explain to them your situation of not being able to enter your number to view your status and maybe it will get the ball rolling for you.

from my experience, but the time you clear the invalid numbre issue you will be out USCIS.

9/9: Mailed N-400 package off

9/11: Arrived at Dallas, TX

9/17: NOA

9/19: Check cashed

9/23: Received NOA

10/7: Text from USCIS on status update: Biometrics in the mail

10/9: Received Biometrics letter

10/29: Biometrics

10/31: In-line

2/16: Text from USCIS that Baltimore has scheduled an interview...finally!!

2/24: Interview letter received

3/24: Naturalization interview

Thank you all for your advice. Its all clear now. Its NOA1 and i can see the status... Good luck everyone. Hope its gonna take less than 5 months till NOA2....
