Well, after my prior mail I am embarrassed, yet extremely happy, to report that after I logged in to USCIS.gov that the message has changed to " On November 24, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. "

It will be a great trip home. No need to send congratulatory messages, let's all join and cross our fingers for all the remaining filers who are still waiting. We'll be hanging around and participate as usual.

Todays notice on USCIS has changed to :

"Post Decision Activity

On November 29, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

So far so good. Hope to see more approvals this week.

I'm curious to find out myself when my condition is removed. Every time I cross the border I end up in secondary. And I have only been traveling with my wife thus far, go figure...

Got my card today. REALLY fast as I was approved on November 22. I'm happy this is over with until I decide to apply for Citizenship. Good luck to everyone else!

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

GC arrived by mail today as an early X-mas present. First they let me wait nearly 7 months, then the card arrives in less than a week! But, heh, who is complaining? I am wishing all of you on this board, especially the filers still waiting for their approval, happy holidays. Crossing my fingers that approvals will roll in quickly.
