Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

Did you receive your approval letter too in the mail?

Yes, I received my approval letter by mail, then 3 days later I received my new card by mail, too.

Removal of Conditions Journey:

2010-5-23 : sent I-751

2010-5-28 : received NOA1

2010-7-21 : called USCIS- received a reference number.

2010-9-08 : biometrics

2010-9-28 : approval.

2010-10-04: Got card.

Naturalization N-400 Journey:

2011-5-31: N-400 sent

2011-7-25: Biometrics

2011-9-14: Pass Interview

2011-9-28: Oath. U.S Citizen. Done

5-18- 2010 -- NOA Receipt Date

9-16-2010 -- ASC appt

AOS still pending, interview not schedules, after my last call to USCIS i decided to go with N400 instead of AOS

05-07-2011: mailed the package for N400

05-12-2011- Received email form USCIS acceptance of application , also receipt number

Look at at this way, in your group at least you are in good company.

In my group ( CSC ) everybody has passed me and I am the only one left

up there. 157 days since NOA, 104 since BIO. No touch since Jul 13.

Mentally we are prepared to go over the 6 month period. Sucks.

The wait is also testing my patience. I try to relax about it and say "well, it's just time passing before I apply for citizenship," but I'd really like to have that 10 year card in my hand.

it ticks me off so badly, that a friend of mine, who filed 2 weeks after I did, got her GC 4 weeks ago.

So I called the misinformation hotline again, and the same answer: "you are in the marriage fraud database and you should hear from us within 6 months"

Thanks for nothing.

You are not the only one ticked off. I just checked CSC and VSC statistics. While we are at 67% and 69%, approvals for our friends who filed in June are at 71% and 79%, July at 70% and 58% and there are even two August filers already approved by CSC.

Logic fails me.
