Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

10/07/2010 - Called Customer Service to open a service request for ASC appointment

10/25/2010 - Received Service request response - will send notice when appointment available

10/25/2010 - CSC mailed ASC fingerprinting Appointment letter

10/27/2010 - Received ASC fingerprinting Appointment letter

11/02/2010 - Early Biometrics (Walk-in)

11/19/2010 - Orig. Appointment for Biometrics

2010-7-21 : called USCIS- received a reference number.

Thanks for replying. I'm a september filer and its going to be a month and I havent recieved a biometric appointment notice. Just wondering why. People before me and after me have received it. Maybe there's a pattern with Santa Ana. Your timeline is not encouraging. Do you know why you received the appointment letter so late?

According to USCIS staff, who I talked on phone, I received the appointment letter so late because there are a lot of cases in their office recently.

As per others........I got a first APPROVED email on 9/27/10, then a second identical APPROVED email on 9/28/10, then an email saying APPROVAL NOTICE MAILED on 9/30/10.

that sounds right!

Does anyone know if there is a number for the Vermont Office... we filed 05/11/10, they received it 05/14/10.. he had his bio done on 06/11/10, they last touched the ROC 07/10/10 and now nothing.. we were separated for 8 months, but it was explain in an affidavit by me.. we don't know what else to do.. the waiting is very hard.. please pray for us... my former screen name was wonderful07.. thanks.. and Congratulations to all the approvals :thumbs::dance::thumbs::dance::star:

My new card arrived in the mail today good.gif

Just one question:

On my new card, the "Resident Since" says 06/12/08, on my old card, the "Resident Since" says 08/01/08. Problem or not?

definitely a problem! You may need to call them to double check, but you might have to file I-90 (?) and request a replacement card.

went to finger printing on 09/16/2010, it was touched on 9/17/2010 ......what do you guys suggest wait for some more time or call USCIS customer service( or Email)...

5-14- 2010 -- mailed the package

5-18- 2010 -- NOA Receipt Date

AOS still pending, interview not schedules, after my last call to USCIS i decided to go with N400 instead of AOS

05-07-2011: mailed the package for N400

05-12-2011- Received email form USCIS acceptance of application , also receipt number

went to finger printing on 09/16/2010, it was touched on 9/17/2010 ......what do you guys suggest wait for some more time or call USCIS customer service( or Email)...

It's normal to get a touch a day or so after the Biometrics were taken. Now you keep the long line of us who sit and wait and wait and wait and wait. I am sure, you get the picture.
