Well, of course we are still waiting. Returned from another overseas trip last night. Had to go through secondary again. Extension letter was carefully checked and double checked and triple checked and we were done. Came in through Canada and going through secondary made us bypass luggage inspection. Oh, all the good food from Hong Kong, it's in the bag. We are leaving again in three weeks. Somehow I have a strange feeling, our approval will not happen by then :angry:

Puff - Can you tell us the date of your NOA1 (the receipt date on the form) and the date you were approved for green card?

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

Today we received a second e-mail from CRIS stating that production has been ordered for the new green card. The USCIS online case status was updated to show today's date instead of the 10th as well.

I guess this means that the e-mail received on the 10th was supposed to be a green card approval, and now they are actually ordering the green card production.

Or maybe we will get two green cards?

If they stay consistent, you should get a third text message with the approval notification. Check my timeline in green.

completed finger prints on 16th, checked case status online last updated on 17th , still says Initial review.....waiting for the approval.

Yes - We did receive three notifications now, and the approval letter as well. Our case was touched again yesterday as well.

We (daughter and I) got our green cards in the mail today. Everything on them is correct like names dates, etc. Thank God. So, now I really can say that we are done for a while. Next step To apply for U.S. citizenship when I become elegible the next year.
