I did not receive finger print appointment notice yet, opened a service request last week. also emailed , just received response for email

any help or suggestions ?

I suggest you give it a little more time.

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

Just keep in mind that the members on this website are a very small group of a huge number of applicants. Therefore, although to us it seems like 1 person got approved, but it is possible that several were approved (just are not members here).

That being said, the approval rate is much slower than I have seen in the past. Hopefully, CSC will wake up and start doing a better job!

I received my card on Aug 6!!! :thumbs:

Comparing to AOS, ROC is much faster, just took abt 3 months or less to complete.

Things to share:

1) Successfully changed my last name on the new GC. Thanks to VJ (L), I had my cover letter with written that "please change my last name from maiden to married last name". Plus put my maiden name at Other Name.

2) Successfully update my address, since we just got a house in late April and we submitted the ROC application in early May, we did the AR-11 form onine plus attached a copy with I-751 too!!

Well, finally fixed my name, I think I will go to DMV again, last year they even not allowed me to get the learner's permit :( They said my GC and SS Card are in different name, my old GC in maiden name and SS Card in married name, I already bought with my married certificate!!! They still asked me to come back when I changed my name on GC. Hopefully no more trouble deal with stupid DMV!!! :angry:

Been living in US without a driver lincense for almost 3 yrs now, luckily I got a walking distance job but I still feel so dependent on my hubby!! I just feel bad.... :blush:

AOS Process:

- 11-28-07 I-485/I-765/I-131 sent

- 12-06-07 NOA1 of AOS

- 12-18-07 received RFE for I-864

- 12-20-07 EAD and AP touched (Notice Returned as Undeliverable)

- 01-04-08 Biometrics appointment done

- 01-28-08 AOS touched (Response to RFE received, and case processing has resumed)

- 03-10-08 EAD and AP finally touched and approved!!! =)

It is time for some more approvals. No August approvals for VSC after mine and only 2 CSC approvals so far - May is apparently a really weird month for ROC :unsure::blink:

We just got en email to update us on our case status: Card/ Document Production on August 13, 2010 - (Biometrics last Wednesday).

:D Thank you to all the support and tips you guys provided and good luck to all those who are still waiting: things are going back to normal slowly but surely.
