Tried for an early bio this morning in Boston, but were told they were too busy. So we'll head to Rhode Island on Friday for our actual appointment. I was really hoping we could get this done today as both my husband and I work a 10 minute walk from the Boston ASC and now he'll have to take a day off work to drive to Rhode Island, but at least this unnecessarily painful part of the process will be complete soon :)

We went to our Bio appointment this morning (my daughter and I), everything was fine and we were out in 10 minutes.

We tried for an early Bio last week since ASC is located just 15 min walking from our home, the place was empty but we were still denied to have it. They just allow people who miss their appointments to come Wednesday immediately after of the missed appointment but NEVER an early Bio, unless you have an emergency which you have to bring documents to prove it.

This ASC is in 4853 N. Broadway, Chicago, IL. 60640.

Anyway, another step done for us. :)

K1-K2 Visas Journey

(Day 1) 05/23/07: Packet sent to CSC

(Day 247) 01/25/08: Interview. Approved!

(Day 254) 02/01/08: Visas Received.

AOS Journey K1-K2

(Day 1) 04/20/08: Application sent.

(Day 73) 07/02/08: EAD,AP Approved!

(Day 108) 08/05/08: AOS Approved!

(Day 114) 08/11/08: 2 years GC received.

Received the bio letter yesterday. Appointment scheduled for 8/13. We're going to have to reschedule though as my husband is away then. Has anyone sent in a request for a new date and a new ASC? The one he's scheduled for is over an hour away. Thanks.

I just wanted to let you know that I got my rescheduled date yesterday. I had no problems rescheduling. It took about 2 weeks from when I sent the request to recieve my new appointment time! I hope it works out okay for you. I did not request a new ASC. I'm not sure how it works for that.

I received my rescheduled biometrics notice yesterday. The date will work great so I'm happy that I will get the next step over with by the end of the month! Congrats on all the approvals!! It makes me hopeful1

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

Just went to our Biometrics this morning, everything went fine and they weren't that busy (San Antonio, TX) very nice people, went better than last time. Now let's start the new waiting game... :) Congrats to all that were accepted and/or got their Bio letters!

Congratulations to all who are approved and/or received their GC. For us the wait continues. I just wonder if early Biometrics really is helpful or not? And CSC has only approved one applicant for now.

Not sure what's going on with May filers altogether... especially with the biometric letters, we didn't get our noa1 and now it seems they are taking time approving people... just not sure what is really going on :unsure: ...but i pray that we are all approved very soon :thumbs:

Not sure what's going on with CSC. There's just 1 approval from MAY filers !!!

Check CSC April thread....still many filers to be approved from there still. I-751 is a low priority petition. They can take their sweet time with them when they need or want to. :thumbs:

Updated my signature with the details of the biometrics. Actually, my updates were too long for the signature so I only showed the portion after receiving the extension letter.

I'm glad you folks received 2 letters for the same date-time. We recived 2 appt. letters for 2 different date-times.

Ok, we finally have a biometrics letter. :dance:

In fact, now we have two letters (both with identical notice dates and appointment dates).

I did not receive finger print appointment notice yet, opened a service request last week. also emailed , just received response for email

As previously stated on July 21, 2010, biometrics will be scheduled in Texas, and we have no control over the time it is taking as it is out of our jurisdiction. Your continued patience is appreciated.

The CR-189 receipt number will be EACXX XXX XXXX. Your administrative file, AXX XXX XXX, is located at the USCIS Houston office, and the VSC has a request in to have it sent to us so that your cases will all be together.

You will be notified as soon as the Application Support Center schedules your appointment.

For future status inquiries of a petition or application filed at this Center you may want to utilize our National CustomerService Center by calling 1-800-375-5283. If you would like to obtain forms, filing instructions, case status or schedule an appointment with your local office, please visit our website at www.uscis.gov.

9-16-2010 -- ASC appt

AOS still pending, interview not schedules, after my last call to USCIS i decided to go with N400 instead of AOS

05-07-2011: mailed the package for N400

05-12-2011- Received email form USCIS acceptance of application , also receipt number
