So on July 26th, I already received email stated that my new GC is ordered. Then yesterday I received another email and SMS:

On August 2, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED.

How interesting the process is? Ordered the new card first before they approved the ROC application??? Strange!!! Not sure which date is real for the approval... :innocent:

Anyway, no RFEs this time and I got approved...I am overjoyed!!!

Please update me!!! :dance: Today I received text msg and email from USCIS!!!

On July 26, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Update!!!!

I received a mail from USCIS today saying:

Congratulations!! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved!

Date of decision: 07/29/2010

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

Today we sent in evidence that my husband's I-751 was not mailed in late. I included a letter explaining why we believe they made an error, a copy of his NOA receipt dated May 6 and a copy of his green card showing an expiration date of May 28. Hopefully that will satisfy the moron who is working on his case.

I wish we can charge USCIS a small fee everytime they send a letter by mistake - we'll get rich quickly!

Hope it was originally in error and that there is nothing against your application of that sort, but if not, hope the letter you sent will keep them off your back.

The one woman I talked to on the phone agreed that the application had been filed on time, but stated that we had to send in documents supporting the timely filing just the same.

USCIS website has been down since last night for "maintenance". Can't they do "maintenance" over the weekend like any other company?
