On August 2, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

As DanielParul stated, Congratulations once more to everyone who has been approved and everyone who has received their biometrics letter! :dance:

We are still waiting for our biometrics letter, and put in a second service request today with NCSC. The service agent kept asking how we knew the CR I-89 receipt # if we haven't received the biometrics letter yet, to which we responded that it was provided to us on the phone by an immigrations officer over a month ago.

Yes - We will definitely do that if we don't get a response from VSC to either our followup e-mail or the 2nd service request.

I'm in the same boat, bszoom42. No bio either, despite two calls and a service request in early July. I sent them another email this morning.

Have you had any touches after your service requests? My case hasn't even been touched since May.

My last touch was on July 10th, but I don't believe it was related to any service request activity.

Heh, I emailed them about my service request from July 2 (which was confirmed by a mailed letter to me) and they told me today, "Thank you for your inquiry. USCIS electronic records don’t indicate that a service request was made through the National Customer Service Center. Please contact the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 so that they can forward your service request for processing. Thank you very much."

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

Are they saying there's a backlog now?

Is anyone else going to Denver for their biometrics?

It seems like they are backlogged or probably you are in their queue so they need to process the ones on top of the queue and then they will get to yours. The good news is that you received some reply and you are slowly moving on....

I received a mail from USCIS today saying:

Congratulations!! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved!
