FINALLY I got my BIOMETRICS LETTER for AUGUST 20 Appointment.

And we have finally gotten our as well. It came in the mail today (7-29-2010). The notice date on the I-797 is 7/23/2010.

Our appointment in Birmingham, Alabama is for August 10.

I hope this was the first and only hiccup we experience the rest of the way. If all goes as planned my wife will be receiving her citizenship this time next year.

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

We got our BIO notices in the mail today. One for my daughter (she is 11), and the other for me. Our case also got touched yesterday 07/28 and today 07/29.

Good luck to everybody, and these Bio notices keep coming for all those still waiting.

P.S. I had updated my Bio date already on the board since I got the date via email two days ago.

I submitted our service request on 7/23. Hopefully we'll hear about the biometrics soon! At least we didn't have it right when I was due with our daughter like I originally feared!

Received the bio letter yesterday. Appointment scheduled for 8/13. We're going to have to reschedule though as my husband is away then. Has anyone sent in a request for a new date and a new ASC? The one he's scheduled for is over an hour away. Thanks.

I am in the same situation. Will be out of the country when I was supposed to have my appointment. I submitted my request for reschedule a few days ago. I'll keep you updated on what happens!

Based upon the table above, it looks like:

only 06 out of 15 amongst the CSC filers have NOT yet received the Biometrics appt.

only 15 out of 32 amongst the VSC filers have NOT yet received the Biometrics appt.

I've no idea when we are gonna receive the Bio Letter :crying:

Just got our Biometrics letter!!!! Yippee! Scheduled for 08/11 and set on 07/23 For the record I called earlier this week and the Agent told me there was still no date for the Biometrics which obviously was not accurate so just hang in there they seem to be sending all May filers their Biometrics after all.

Please could someone update my status too? Thank you and Congrats to all those approved!

Several members on different threads reported the same behavior of disappearing circles. It looks like USCIS has improved upon their online system and that is good news... it is still difficult to tell what it means for those circles to disappear and the chances of them dynamically appearing as the application progresses....

Bio appointment received today July 30. Appointment date: August 16. We'll be out of town, so I checked the box that asked for a new appointment, which I am sending in to VSC. Let's hope a new appointment doesn't last another three months!
