Don't feel bad, kaffy. We were supposed to file my husband's in March (beginning of 90 day window) but ended up filing at the beginning of this month. You'll get there. smile.gif

Our check was cashed 5/7/10. Just waiting on the NOA1 now. And preparing for the long haul through VSC.

It has been 2 days since they cashed my check and no NOA1 should i worry.... LOL :lol:

My Time Line

02/08/07--We Met in Malabo, EG

04/01/08--We Got Married in Mongomo, EG

Present-- Undecided about DCF or File Through US

04/18/08 applied through DCF got approved.came to us 8/4/08

received 2 year GC and SS# in month.

05/04/10 Sent package and Check overnight USPS

05/05/10 Package signed for and received

05/06/10 NOA1 Created

05/07/10 Check Cashed

05/13/10 NOA1 received

I am new to this site and I have filed my ROC on Saturday 8 May. My GC expires on 5 August 2010. I don't know how to add my name to the list though :blush: I received delivery confirmation yesterday so I know all my papers arrived in Vermont. Now let the wait begin :yes:

Great news, check was cashed 5/11. We were a bit afraid that they would send us everything back. Weren't sure about the 90 day and I feared that I jumped the gun 1 day too early. Well,

apparently not. Now the other concern is mentioning in earlier posts about the 2009 tax return not being included. I never file on time, always file for extension and probably won't let my accountant do it before Oct.

This whole situation now reminds us very strongly of our journey 3 years ago thru the IR-1 / CR-1 application. Rumours, uncertainty, anger, frustration........It's all coming back. In

those days we went on the computer first every morning to pull up the info from USCIS and see if something was done. Oh, the elation when we noticed a "touch" and then the disappointment

when that "touch" did not translate into anything material.

So, it's "deja vu all over again", but we hope this time will not be as protracted as the last.

We wish us and everyone else on this board a speedy conclusion on this trip.
