I got my letter today saying that I'm approved and that my 10yr greencard will arrive within 60 days. My online case status hasn't been updated at all just for the record. It's still says it's in the initial review stage. Just wanted to share.

Congrats!!!!!! That is amazing since all but one of us from the April CSC filers are still waiting for approval!

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

I found an envelope from USCIS.... guess what?

Insufficient evidence... but I want to be independent even if I marry, so no joint account. And we don't have child... the evidence is very limited.... sigh

It is very understandable what you are saying, but in USCIS's eyes - these are the types of signals they get form people who are marrying for immigration purposes only.

Did you send affidavits? If not, find two or three people and get them put together.

Is this the number to call California Service Center: 800-375-5283 ?

Also is it necessary that the applicant be present or the US citizen spouse can call and check for the information on the Biometrics letter?

The foreign spouse is the petitioner for the I-751 so I'm guessing they would be the best person to inquire about the status of the case. :yes:

Yes that's the number to call about the Biometrics appointment ... if you place a service request they will notify csc about it and yes the applicant should be present if you are going to call them ..... u can do the inquiry but they still want to talk to the applicant to verify some data before giving you any information.

I thought I would just call them from work. Great then we'll call them while we are both home.

Other than the basic Application information like the: Name /A# / Receipt# / Receipt Date / DOB / Address; what information do we need to have handy.. Someone mentioned they asked the yes/no questions... can someone please clarify ?
