Yes she did ask all my information including my parents name ......but she dont give me a reference number .... what's good is she explained to me why my case is pending .. she said there is no available appointment date on the ASC where i will have my photo and fingerprints .... waaaaaaa i will call them backkkk to pursue that service request

I am just jumping in the middle of the conversation, but feel free to ignore this if you have done so already. Ask to speak to a manager and they should be able to get you the information you need. Usually reps provide what the screen tells them and anything outside the screen is "unknown" to them...

Good for you, Moimoi! That'll keep them from forgetting about your case in a lone corner of CSC somewhere....maybe we were all put in the same box and it was accidentally archived or something. Wouldn't put it past them. :no:

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

I think the key words here are "NEW Appointment Notice".

I think the key is what your ASC is. Why not track the ASCs that are backed up and see if there is a trend? For example, we have a few members in Arizona with no biometrics appointment. AZ is well-known for its large immigrant community, so it doesn't surprise me that there is a backlog there.

It Would be interesting to know that. We could see what the trend is regarding to those who have not get their Bio yet. However I personally believe that all this delayed was caused for the double Bio letter that USCIS issued to many later April filers and earlier May filers.

I haven't checked and don't know how many Arizona based members are still waiting for their letter. You know, out of the blue I got mine a couple of weeks ago and I am Phoenix based. When I went to the office, there were three customers there, none of them for Biometrics. Otherwise it was empty. Certainly more staff than applicants. And I got in as a walk-in. So, not sure if the large immigrant community contributes to the huge delays at USCIS and the CSC.

Surely, they have to fix this situation. Surely, as well, we will never know what happened and caused this problem.

On a personal note for me it is extremely irritating, because when we went thru the CR1 process, we were also stuck in a "month" that without rhyme or reason experienced great delays, while everything around "our" month went as to be expected. Never found out why. Deja vu.

I was told by 2 others to post here because I filed our I-751 in May..I read the instructions but I don't want to mess anything up, if someone can put my info in there for me, that would be awesome!

We filed the I-751 on May 3 and sent it to the Vermont Center...received the NOA1 May 5th...biometrics appt. was June 8th...thats it so far for us, hoping for an approval soon!! :thumbs:
