Hi fellow May filers.. I guess we are closer now since May is just a week away. Have you all started preparing your evidence? What do you plan to send in?

hi mate.i just sent mine last may 25, it just left last may 31 from usps ,bummer lol..... :wacko:

well anyway here's what i send:

cover letter

personal check ($545)

form 1-751

copies of tax from 2008-2009

evedince of our bonofide relationship lol... (L) such as:

copies of all our iteneraries regarding our past vacations and our coming vacations

it includes boarding passes,plane tickets,

pictures lol :P (2 copies each in all our travel itinerary)

sworn affidavits of some people who knows us that we are a legitimate couple lol

sign and dated.....(including there phone numbers,date and place of birth)

Hi Guys,

How lomg should i wait after I get my conditional green card to apply for "Removal of conditions"?.Can I do it after a month or 2 or should be within 90 days of expiry ONLY?

Hi, how do you do early biometrics? thanks, I send my application on 10th May , I just got my exttention letter but not the biometrics letter yet.

First you need to get a biometrics letter. After that, you just head to the ASC earlier then the date listed, and hopefully you pick a time when they are not busy. Then you arrive there with your supporting documents very politely ask to do an early bio.

Some ASCs will turn you away, and some will ask you why do you want an early bio (so its a good idea to think of an answer to that beforehand), and some will let you do an early bio no questions asked.

I filed on 5/20, and got a I-797C notice of Action this week. It says my conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year. What next? I thought I can get a 10 year green card?!

1/11/2008: Sent out AOS package and I-130 to Chicago Lockbox

1/17/2008: Checks Cashed

1/23/2008: Receive NOAs (I-130,I-485, AP and EAD) dated 1/16/2008

2/11/2008: Receive ASC Appointment Notice (I-485 and I-765) dated 2/1/2008

2/29/2008: Biometric Appointment

3/4/2008: AP touched - request for additional info

3/7/2008: EAD touched - Approved

3/12/2008: Receive EAD

3/15/2008: Receive I-512L x 2 - dated 3/4/2008

7/10/2008: Interview Letter Received

8/20/2008: AOS Interview and GC is approved!

8/27/2008: Receive welcome letter dated 8/21

Congratulations Puff! That is good news, because that means that they accepted your petition, and it is in queue to be adjudicated.

See the "Processing Information" section of the I-751 instructions for more information, specifically the "Acceptance" subsection.

Soon you will receive your biometrics appointment letter. That should have been mentioned in the Notice of Action you received. Be sure to read it carefully, so that you understand what is going on. Feel free to ask any questions.

The reason they extend your conditional status for the period of 1 year, is that typically, most cases are adjudicated by that time, and this way you are staying here with status.

I filed on 5/20, and got a I-797C notice of Action this week. It says my conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year. What next? I thought I can get a 10 year green card?!

You will receive a letter for a biometrics appointment followed by a period of waiting for them to review your file and them you will receive your approval. This will take 4 months or more but once approved, you will receive your 10 year GC.

N-400 Naturalization Timeline

06/28/11 .. Mailed N-400 package via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter
