Hello all VJ's

Me and my wife are planning a trip for next month, round Thanksgiving I am a born US citizen and she is a green card holder and a Pakistani national. We would like to travel to UK and also Holland(amsterdam) for vacation please advise if and what visas would be needed. Also do you think the time frame is enough to be able to get both of these visas in time for our trip!!! Plzz Help....

If you're only going to visit, then you, as a US citizen can use the Visa Waiver process (fill the form in on the plane). Your wife, although a US resident, is a Pakistani national and will require a visa for her passport.

I would imagine that she will have to acquire that in a Pakistani Embassy here in the US , in advance of travel arrangements.

She would have to acquire the visa at the Netherlands embassy/consulate. UK visa can be acquired through online application. You can not get travel visas on your own embassy.

Yes, sorry, wasn't paying attention to the Embassy details. It would be the Netherlands Embassy for a Dutch visa, and the British Embassy for the UK one.
