I was looking for you too! But since yours was at 8am, I thought you'd already been gone by the time I got there. I should've said to the room "I'm ReeRee, now which one of you is LaurelMike?" Which one were you?? I was an asian girl with a tall black guy sitting on the right side coming from the entrance.

Btw, my TB test was positive too, but I had X-ray done and the doctor determined it was okay. Hope you get your treatement done and get your GC approved then!

 Yeah!! that introduction would have been the best thing to do and would definitely have saved me all the guesswork. I was also seated on the right side from the entrance but on the very front row.

I did do the X-ray and it was all clear. I guess the reason why I'm being sent for the treatment is that my reaction to the TB Test was huge. I'll get that started tomorrow. Luckily all they need is evidence that I have begun the treatment.

I must say that everyone on this thread and other VJ members have been a huge source of blessing to me. Thanks alot everyone for being sooooooo wonderful (L)

Wow! We have some great progress!

Flyer, thank you so much for posting your experience at Manchester.... I'm almost looking forward to it.

Congrats to Ree Ree and Laurelmike too.

Laurelmike, I'm a little worried about the TB thing as well after reading your experience. I was vaccinated against TB, as I guess you and ReeRee were, and had a positive reaction. I had my chest x-ray and it was clear. I don't know what a large reaction is, I think mine was pretty big. Oh well, I guess what happens happens. Were you offered treatment for a latent infection? I never was so I'm a little surprised.

I will be SO excited to hear when you guys get your GCs!

Good luck for tomorrow Greg!

Thanks Hudons :star:

Yes, I was referred by the civil surgeon to the health dept but they only made it seem as if the treatment was optional. Honestly, I think I had an over-zealous doctor cuz most people don't get referred at all once the chest is clear. I don't think you'll have any problem since you weren't offered the treatment in the first place.

Thanks! We have them broken down into sections and then within each section I have post-its sticking out so I can see where each form is :lol:Am I OCD?

Certainly

Very well-organized

Thanks ReeRee, laurelmike, Rebecca and hudons for the well wishes.

Our "documentation package" is complete. I keep adding to it each day with more evidence, but I think it's more than enough. I get the feeling the more organized you are, the less they are likely to ask for things.

Tomorrow we fly to Honolulu for a 2PM interview. I'll post our experience when we get home.

Good luck to hakuna matata who also has their interview tomorrow. Then we have a bunch of folks with interviews next week.

Hudons I also had been vaccinated for TB when I was younger. When I did the TB skin test, I had a reaction that was cleared by a chest x-ray. During my interview the TB reaction never came up given it was cleared by the chest x-ray. So everyone who have interviews coming up and reacted positive to the TB skin test, you should be fine if you were cleared by the civil surgeon or health department.
