I wish there were more reviews on VJ on our office in Philly. I really don't know what to expect. My hubby is making the last photocopies of paperwork at work today. I'll probably post a list of everything we have tonight and we can compare!

I go through periods of not being nervous and then being nervous. Does anyone know if they usually ask more questions toward the USC or the immigrant? I'm the USC but my hubby is better during interviews so I hope they ask him more questions

Rebecca, you guys are going to be FINE!Just follow the interview check list, get the originals and copies of all the documents and at the interview be confident and try to give the best honest answers you could!I told my husband that if by any chance he doesn't remember a detail - most men are like that, they forget details-he better just say "I don't remember" than making up something. We were not separated and we got very decent/easy questions: how did we meet, what do we work...I am sure you guys will be able to answer those! :star: Good luck!!!!!!:thumbs:

Thats how I am too. I get really nervous, but only BEFORE events like that. Once I am in the situation-I calm down and try to give the best of me. It also depends on what kind of people I deal with. Everybody is more comfortable with friendly and polite people. Hopefully you will have a nice officer!

Yeah I usually calm down a LOT if the person is nice. My boss (who interviewing me for the job) was so amazingly kind that it really put me at ease. I'm hoping we get an understanding officer. The good news is that all the reviews on VJ for our office (there's only a few) are all positive

I think from what i've read they ask the immigrant more questions. I have friends who adjusted a few years back. They had a super easy interview - unfortunately not at my office though. All the US citizen hubby was asked was what was his wife's first name!

So excited for you guys that you have your interview soon - fingers crossed it's super easy and you get approved the same day and good luck to everyone else  Looking fwd to hearing your good news :star:

Well if all they ask me is my hubby's name then I think I am ok  We were watching The Newlywed Game on TV the other day and were testing our answers that were asked by answering at the same time. We'd go "1, 2, 3 GO" Most of our answers matched! :star: I want to buy the board game, it was fun!

Ooo that's a great idea! A while back I googled common interview questions and we quizzed each other. We are convinced we would ace a stokes interview if we ever had the misfortune of having one.
