BTW, I got AP in the mail yesterday!! And also got e-mail about EAD approval notice being mailed to me. I thought that EAD is a card, not a letter. So you get a approval letter and a card??

Hi ReeRee, yeah the EAD is just a card. No separate approval letter. You should get it within days.

Thanks Greg and KM24 for clarifying! I thought it was a card, but the e-mail notice got me confused :wacko: It will be a nice Xmas present for me :)

10/05/09 sent I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131 via Fedex to Chicago (Day 1)

10/06/09 Delivered to Chicago, signed by J. Chyba (Day 2)

10/14/09 Check for I-485 cashed (Day 10)

10/16/09 Check for I-130 cashed & received all 4 NOA's!!!! (NOA Date was 10/13/09) (Day 12)

10/27/09 Received Biometrics appt letter (Letter Date was 10/19/09) (Day 23)

10/28/09 Attempt to walk-in bio failed at Wheaton, MD Support Center.... (Day 24)

11/06/09 9AM Biometrics Done

12/03/09 Received interview letter (Scheduled on 01/06/10 in Baltimore) (Day 59)

12/08/09 Received E-mails: EAD production order and AP approval (Day 64)

12/14/09 Received AP (2 copies) in mail!

12/16/09 Received EAD!!!!!

01/06/10 Interview done!!! - 20 minutes of waiting and 15 minutes of interview

01/21/10 Got Green Card in a mail!!!!!!!

01/26/10 Got Welcome letter saying my green card is approved (got it after I got my GC:) )

Congrats Rebecca. I don't think delivery would fail on your EAD if your IL arrived.

I know what you mean about early!

I'm okay with mornings but our interview is at 8:40 and we live just over 2 hours away.... if the roads are good.

It's going to be an early one! It seems early is the trend. Hopefully really good starts to all our days!

Yeah we are not too far, about 30 mins from our interview office. But we'll probably stay overnight in Philly the night before b/c I get anxiety about being late :lol:

Our interview is at 2PM, but on another island. So we have to fly over in the morning and rent a car. Same as we did for the bio. Pain in the neck, but hopefully we get approved and have a 2 year break from USCIS.

Congrats everyone who got IL, EAD, AP!! We have come so far in the process, it is a blessing :DI remember I was going crazy checking my bank account every 10 minutes to see if my checks were cashed, that was just a couple months ago :lol:

BTW, I also got the second e-mail about EAD production, but it hasn't come in a mail yet. Hopefully this week!!

I'm considering getting a hotel for the night before. I thought I was the only one!

I haven't had any updates on my I-130 since 10/29. I don't know what's with that. I thought that would be more important since the eligibility for filing I485 is based on that.

Anyway, I feel much better that other people's I-130s aren't active either! :)

I guess we have to wait for any updates after our interview.. It's just weird.. But I checked the processing time of I-130 at the USCIS website, it says 5months while the AOS is just 4months..

Looks like we have lots of good news this week. Congratulations on receipt of letters and cards. This is a great way to go into the holiday season.

Just a note, I too have not had any activity on my I130 since sometime in October so I think it is safe to say that there is no need to panic.

Well Rebecca, you are not alone. My husband received his IL but he hasnt gotten his EAD. First they said the EAD was undelivarable and yesterday he got e-mail, the re-mail his EAD, well hopefully this time he will get it or they wont make mistake anymore...

10/16/09 - Check cashed by INS

still waiting for biometric

11/16/09 - Called INS customer service for service request on biometric appt

11/20/09 - Received biometric appt (Finally) notice date 11/3/09, sent on 11/18/09

11/23/09 - I-485 & I-765 touched, No update on I-131 :(

My 1-130 seems also stuck in initial review stage forever! Relieved to see that I'm not the only one..phew.

Lots of Oct filers are already received IL, so hope to get mine soon..before Christmas. That will make my holiday PERFECT!

Feb 6 10: Got my Greencard!

OCT 11 : Filed I-751

NOV 11 : Received I-797 Notice of Action.(It says I-751 receipt notice...1 year extended)

NOV 11 : CHECK_$590 cashed.

DEC 11 : Done Bio.

JAN 12 : Resident card date is expired.

The EAD card is finally here. We got it in the mail today finally... and went to DMV renew his DL now we are gonna try to organize all the paperwork for our interview in 3 wks...
