My hubby just got his AP in the mail today :) Still waiting on the EAD. He got two identical copies of the AP, any idea why?

I was told the AP document is 2 pages. Did you apply for a single, or multiple entries? My guess would be it has to do with being approved for multiple entries so it can be stamped multiple times...

Also, got my drivers license extended. They didn't even want any money! I just walked in gave the guy my EAD and he printed a new temp license. Result!

Here's hoping for more interview letters next week. Jan will be a busy month for us!

Yeah we did apply multiple entries so maybe that's why

My cute mail delivery truck just dropped the EAD card today!!! NICE!

It's time to get driver's license, and also hunt for a good job. Real life will be started!

Btw, I'm looking at it right now, and realized that's only valid for a year..hum. And I found there is a comment about this at the back of paper :

Your card has an expiration date.

-If you are a conditional resident, you should apply to remove the conditions 90 days before your card expires.

-If you are a permanent resident, the expiratioin date does not affect your status, but you should use Form I-90 to apply for a new card 90 days before this card expires.

Eventually all my AOS will be approved, and then I'll be a permanent resident about the time when this EAD is expired, right? So I need to use I-90 FORM to renew. USCIS web has this form, I guess? Any advice would be appreciated.

I think youre GC should arrive before this EAD expires, and the GC takes the place of the EAD as it will maybe say that you're allowed to work on it, so no need for the EAD?

Correct, once you get your GC you can just use that to work  My hubby might not even use his EAD since his status doesn't run out until March 2010, but we applied just in case anyway!

I see. Thanks RebeccaAndPhil & Shani682!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Great news KM! Yours is the day after ours. Exciting.... but also pretty nerve racking.

We attended my work's xmas party tonight and the board of directors have offered to picket the USCIS office the day of my interview!! I hope that won't be necessary! It's a nice offer though.

I think having your employers behind you makes this a lot easier.

I hope that you all are this lucky.
