I FINALLY received my biometrics letter today :dance: . My appointment date is 12/18 but I will try to do a walk in this coming Thursday. I will let you guys know how it goes.

Greg, I am so relieved. My local ASC office is in Norfolk VA. I wonder if anyone else has tried to do a walk in there? I will try and see what happens. If it works, it works; if it doesn't then I'll just wait until the 18th. As long as my post office delivers my notices to ME, I will be happy.

Our October filier, Hindustani, did a walk in bio at the Norfolk office. So, that should work for you too.

I got my EAD Card today! YAY! Thanks for the prayers and support guys.. Now I'm relieved.. I'll be applying for a SSN on Monday.. =)

Is the approval memo for the AP the same as the document that is used when traveling internationally, or are those two separate things? What does the AP look like? Has anyone used their AP yet?

No the approval memo is simply a notice or what we call a "NOA". The actual document you travel on has your photo on it and typically USCIS gives you two copies of this document. As far as travelling on it, I haven't. My interview is close enough that all travel plans can be delayed until after the interview. Congrats again on everything.

We checked our mail box today and my husband received interview letter for January 6th 2010 in San Bernardino office. He hasnt gotten his EAD yet.. we're hoping the EAD will be here on Monday so he can extends his DL. Good luck everyone.....

KM and Greg, my card has already been ordered. I got a text update a few minutes. Thank you all for your support.

KM, it shouldn't take long for you to get your social security card. When I got mine, it was only a few days after going down to the office. (I had a work permit as a student)
